I believe in Canine Communication which is dog training
through understanding and respect, where the dog chooses to
cooperate willingly without any use of domination or force. By
looking at how the dog sees things, we can save him or her
from all the unwanted behaviours that make both the dog's life
and your own life difficult.

As a
Canine Behaviour Advisor, I give you ongoing SUPPORT.
Through extensive experience gained from having over the
years worked with hundreds of dog owners and dogs, as a
Dog Behaviour Advisor, a Dog Listener and before that with
traditional training methods, I am in a uniquely experienced
position to see your situation objectively and to help you devise
PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS to problems affecting your life with
your dog.

For as long as you need me, I SHARE with you your journey
towards UNDERSTANDING with your dog.

My principals and methods apply equally to
young dogs, old
dogs, big dogs and little dogs and to all breeds.

Email from a client:
"I went to watch a dog training session last weekend (without
Levi of course!). I had no intention of taking him, it was mainly
out of curiosity. I was shocked at the methods that the trainer
was using, and it reinforced the fact that your way of doing
things is the only way. One dog, who looked like a great
character, had hold of a toy and wouldn't let go. So the trainer
hung her up by her lead so that the collar restricted her
breathing and she had no choice but to drop it. There was a
dog with a choke chain and the trainer was teaching his owner
to force it into a down. Also I could sense that the dogs were not
acting on their own free will. In fact one of them, the 'best
behaved' one, attacked a puppy. It was obviously tired and
stressed at being over controlled. I thought that these methods
were no longer used, it was horrible. It made me really
appreciate the tools that you have given me. I never have to so
much as raise my voice at Levi let alone physically force him to
do anything.

I've been realising lately that there are so many dog 'experts'
out there and people have blind faith in them because they
have some qualification or other. And people in general tend to
think they know best when it comes to dogs. It's very
frustrating. I don't listen any more, I listen to Levi instead (and
you of course!)."

NB. I abhore any bullying tactics such as those used in certain TV
programmes or fear tactics like the throwing of chains in front of barking
dogs advocated by some people.

I have worked one-to-one with hundreds of owners and dogs, helping them to achieve
happy, relaxed, trustworthy and self-controlled dogs, without resorting to physical force
or shouted commands.  I help people to give their dogs the life they deserve. I can help
YOU.

Please tell me about the problem you are having with your dog.
